Job Description: 

Are you a skilled network technician with a passion for technology and a desire to work in the hospitality industry? Sbit Hospitality ICT Services is seeking a talented Network Technician to join our team. As a Network Technician, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining networks, WiFi installations, CCTV and VoIP solutions for our clients in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of network protocols and technologies, and the ability to troubleshoot network issues as they arise. 

 Responsibilities: 

• Install and configure networks, WiFi installations, CCTV and VoIP solutions for our clients in the hospitality industry 
• Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolution 
• Conduct network performance tuning and optimization 
• Monitor network performance and report on issues 
• Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure smooth operation of all systems and applications 

• Document network configurations and changes, and maintain up-to-date inventory records 
• Stay current with new technologies and industry trends, and make recommendations for improvements to existing systems 
• Mentor and train junior technicians as needed 

 Requirements: 

• Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (MBO), or a related field 
• 5+ years of experience in installing and configuring networks, WiFi installations, CCTV and VoIP solutions 
• Strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing 
• Experience with network security, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems 

• Familiarity with configuring and troubleshooting Cisco routers and switches 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment 
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and prioritize tasks effectively 
• Willingness to work occasional nights and weekends as needed
