Sbit, the ICT outsourcing specialist for the hospitality sector, becomes part of TSH, one of the fastest-growing MSP organizations in the Netherlands.
Strikwerda Investments (SI), owner of TSH, becomes the new majority shareholder and places the brand within its portfolio company TSH.
Sbit will continue to exist as a leading name in its existing form and, thanks to the acquisition, will receive support from the TSH organization and permanent capital from SI to shape the next growth phase and realize follow-up acquisitions.
This will accelerate the growth path for customers and employees.
In recent years, Sbit has grown into the Dutch market leader in ICT outsourcing for the hospitality sector. Internationally, Sbit is also very successful, with customers in 18 different countries across Europe.
This transaction allows Sbit to pursue a long-term buy-and- build strategy to acquire a leading market position across national borders. Combined, the two companies employ more than 900 employees.
Sjors Brul, CEO and founder of Sbit: “This is a milestone for Sbit. After 23 years, we are pursuing a new route.
Thanks to TSH, we can accelerate our growth, focus on an even better service in Europe, expand our focus on security, and facilitate trends such as co- managed IT. Sbit has long been a trendsetter within Hospitality IT.
With TSH on our side, we can deliver on our promise, and boost our proposition in terms of portfolio and reach.”
TSH, SI’s portfolio company focused on the European MSP market, has a long-term investment horizon. In addition to its strong organic growth, THS is looking to unite even more leading ICT outsourcing companies under its banner.
To this end, TSH is always looking for organizations with a proven track record and with the same attitude as the other TSH companies to continuously work on improving their organization.
Joris Dierick, CEO/CFO of TSH: “Sbit has proven that it has a strong approach in the hospitality sector and has a strong position within this vertical, bolstered by high customer satisfaction.
This acquisition is the first step for TSH in the attractive ICT outsourcing market within the hospitality sector, which we see as an exciting growth market for the coming years. Sjors and his team are a welcome addition to our team of ambitious entrepreneurs.
Our motto is ‘Bright Minds Think Alike,’ in Sbit, we recognize many of what we consider important values in the entrepreneurs who become part of our organization.”
